  1. Like the unjust judge, if you do not fear God nor regard men, whom do you worship?
  2. Can you think of a time before you accepted Jesus that you were like this judge? How about since you’ve accepted Jesus?

  2. Think of a time when you prayed and were discouraged at the outcome.
  3. Think of a time when you can look back and see how your prayer for someone or something changed over time.
  4. What are the dangers of being self-righteous?
  5. The tax collector in the temple prayed for God to have mercy. We learned that what he asked was for God to be “Propitiated” for him. What does propitiated mean and why did Jesus use this word in this parable?
  6. How do you receive God’s word?
  7. Try and list out the 10 Commandments from memory. How did you do?
  8. What have you given up for Jesus? How has He blessed you since then?.
  9. Important: Through this study, what is the Holy Spirit challenging you to do this week? How do you need to obey this?
